Meet the Team

We all have national newspaper backgrounds hence our skill at reportage photography; telling a story through images and capturing the moment rather than staging it. Our extensive, and on-going, experience in press and commercial photography means we work with the latest state-of-the-art equipment. This enables us to react to and capture those special moments – even when they take place some distance away or pass in a fleeting second. We only work in digital meaning all photos can be colour enhanced or produced in black and white depending on your preference.

We feel that equally as important as our expertise behind the camera is our ability to get along with you, the client, in an unobtrusive yet engaging way. We are a young, family-orientated team and could easily pass as just another wedding guest or family member!

Matthew Reeves, manager. Matt is a talented, versatile photographer with excellent people skills who now specialises in wedding and portrait photography. He has a wealth of experience having worked as a sports photographer for the national press, run a London-based still life and portrait studio and worked in film development and post production.

Stephen Bates, director. Steve is a hugely experienced photographer who, in addition to wedding and portrait photography, is an expert in architectural, environmental and landscape photography. Some of his stunning architectural images have recently been published in a pictorial book produced by one of his commercial clients.

Anthony Charlton, director. Anthony's fascinating and diverse career has taken him from local newspapers and the national press to working across Europe for leading multi-national companies. He is a highly experienced photographer who enjoys working with people and is passionate about his work.

David Poultney, director. David is a highly accomplished photographer who has won several prestigious awards including "Regional Press Photographer of the Year" and the "Sony Photograph of the Year Award". He has an extremely impressive client list featuring some of the country's leading companies and organisations.
